Theta Tau
Theta Tau is the only professional engineering fraternity at MIT, renowned as the nation's oldest and foremost fraternity for engineers. Our well-established professional development pipeline is enriched by the diverse backgrounds of our members. We believe our strength lies in the people who make up our organization, and grows stronger with the support of those who champion us.
Theta Tau fosters more than just engineering excellence; it creates a close-knit brotherhood with a rich diversity of interests and achievements. Our members include high-achieving scholars from various disciplines, athletes from over six varsity sports, multiple startup founders, and directors of successful philanthropic organizations. This vibrant community resides in a beautiful five-story brownstone in Boston's Back Bay.
Ideally located with direct access to campus via the Harvard Bridge, Theta Tau offers a convenient commute to classes and serves as a hub for university students across several Boston schools. Our brothers actively engage with the surrounding community through philanthropic events, sports activities, parties, and other social gatherings.
