Kappa Sigma

One of the oldest and largest fraternity chapters on MIT’s campus and in the nation, MIT Kappa Sigma was founded in 1914. Nationally, Kappa Sigma is the largest fraternity in the world, with over 400 chapters in various countries.

Our house is conveniently located on dorm row. The house spans 5 floors as well as a basement and roof deck. Some amenities include, singles and doubles for every brother, access to in-house laundry, lounges on every floor, and lunch and dinner prepared by our private chef 5 days a week.

Members are heavily involved in campus groups. Our brothers play many varsity sports, including football, volleyball, tennis, and crew, and are involved in clubs like Rocket Team, Bitcoin Club, and the Golf Club. Over the past two years, we have had brothers successfully launch two startups through Y-Combinator, brothers working in venture capital firms around campus, and many others who worked for large corporations like SpaceX, Roblox, and Apple. On weekends, we go out to eat together, play games in our house, and relax in the lounges. We throw some of the biggest parties on campus, including our half-century old party Primal, and have thousands of visitors for our events. Come say hi, play some games, and meet our talented and diverse brotherhood.
